You can't go to the Jersey shore without visiting the Wildwood boardwalk - a 3 mile long, world famous boardwalk!  You can walk the boards, ride a bicycle at specified times (see below), or ride the battery operated tram cars. If you have ever been to Wildwood, I'm sure you can still remember it  - "Watch the tram car please". These trams run from almost sunup - 9:00 AM to well past sundown - 1:00 AM. The tram in North Wildwood runs from 10:00 am until 5:00 PM Believe it or not, The Wildwood Boardwalk offers more rides than Disneyland! - Amusements There also are many miniature golf courses on the boardwalk and off the boardwalk too The Boardwalk is traditionally open from Palm Sunday weekend through Columbus Day, with a weekends-only schedule before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. The Boardwalk starts at 16th Avenue in North Wildwood and ends up at Cresse Avenue - the start of Wildwood Crest....36 blocks of fun. It was originally only 150 feet long but has grown to almost 3 miles, plus has been moved closer to the ocean twice. It's fun to ride bicycles from one end to the other. Bicycling is permitted until 11:00 AM on weekdays, and until 10:30 on weekends and Holidays.
